My Prayer for Today

Heavenly Father, thank You for bringing us all to this point in the week; some through trials and tribulations; others through sickness'; some through the death of a family member, love one, friend or enemy.
Thank You for Your divine protection which kept and protected us through bodily harm or even death.
Thank You for Your grace and mercy; thank You for the wisdom, knowledge and understanding of Your Word that we can love, be kind and merciful even in the face of adversities. 
Now Lord, if it be your will: grant us this weekend that we may worship You on The Lord's Day [Sunday].
Bless our Jewish and Seventh Day Adventist brothers and sisters as they keep Your Sabbath--6PM Friday - 6PM Saturday.
In Jesus' name is my supplication of thanksgiving and protection. Amen.

A Threshing Floor

A Threshing Floor In the ancient world, farmers used threshing floors to separate grain from its inedible husk (chaff) by beating it with a flail or walking animals on it—sometimes while towing a threshing sledge. Sledges were fitted with flint teeth to dehusk the grain more quickly. Other workers would turn the grain over so that it would be evenly threshed by the sledge.
