My Prayer for the Day

Prayer
Rev. Lynwood F. Mundy
Good morning Heavenly Father.
Thank You for Your grace and mercy to see and talk with family, friends and enemies.
I not only pray for me but for the peoples of this earth;
I also pray for the governments leaders that they will come together and forget their philosophies and religions so they may come together in unity;
And feed, shelter, give proper health care, clean drinking water, teach proper hygiene and have world peace to the point of one not being fearful of the other.
In Jesus' name. Amen.

A Threshing Floor

A Threshing Floor In the ancient world, farmers used threshing floors to separate grain from its inedible husk (chaff) by beating it with a flail or walking animals on it—sometimes while towing a threshing sledge. Sledges were fitted with flint teeth to dehusk the grain more quickly. Other workers would turn the grain over so that it would be evenly threshed by the sledge.
