Leather Manufacture

‎On top in the middle, the Egyptian picture from the 18th Dynasty (1539–1292 BCE) illustrates the cleaning of an animal skin by scraping of the fleshly remnants. On a slanted table (on the bottom in the middle) the pieces of leather necessary for the manufacture are cut out with a sharp sickle-shaped knife.
