Shrine equipment
All the artifacts pictured here come from a room (2 by 1 m) in Megiddo. The room dates back to the 10th century BCE. The depicted cult objects involve altars of burned offerings, sacrificial pillars, and other cult equipment. These objects were probably stored in this room and served as equipment for a shrine nearby. If needed, the objects could easily be brought from here to the shrine.
