Drawing of Ugaritic

Drawing of Ugaritic

Drawing of Ugaritic text RS 34.131. The text records a list of towns followed by a number of persons in each town. The document is probably a census. Functionally similar lists may also reverse the order of persons and their towns. Biblical texts contain several lists that resemble the administrative place name lists. From RSO 7 pl. 2.
