Big-game hunting

Big-game hunting

‎Thes relief dating back to the time of the Assyrian king Ashurbanipal (669-about 630 BCE) shows a big-game hunt. Beaters compel the animals into the nets that are positioned at the edge of the forest. The game animals will get entangled in the net and cannot escape.
