Have you ever wondered why Jesus never used a benediction? The reasons are: Jesus was from the beginning of Creation and will never die; He is always with you with the Father, and will never leave nor forsake you. The apostle Paul being a human was mortal and would need to leave a benediction to those he wrote or visited too.
14. The grace, etc. The most complete benediction of the Pauline epistles. In most of the epistles the introductory benedictions are confined to grace and peace. In the pastoral epistles mercy is added. In the closing benedictions uniformly grace.

Statement of Confession: I believe in the Trinity--Father, Son and Holy Spirit; The Three are One in the Father. I believe that Jesus is the Savior to those that accept Him in genuine repentance of their sins through faith as their Lord and Savior. I believe that baptism--immersion, burial--is an outward show to the world of their acceptance of salvation by Jesus for His dying, resurrection and His sitting at the right hand of the Father in heaven.
