Prayer, Thought for Today

STOP. Did you stop to pray this morning to thank the Lord for awakening you? If not, STOP and pray giving Him praise, honor and glorifying His holy name above all names and gods. He and only He is worthy of such praises and blessings from man His creation in Their image. If you have read this far, Stop and pray for the next moment is unpredictable--death could be immediately imminent--your soul could be heading for heaven or hell for eternity. The choice is yours only. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen. - Rev. Lynwood F. Mundy

A Threshing Floor In the ancient world, farmers used threshing floors to separate grain from its inedible husk (chaff) by beating it with a flail or walking animals on it—sometimes while towing a threshing sledge. Sledges were fitted with flint teeth to dehusk the grain more quickly. Other workers would turn the grain over so that it would be evenly threshed by the sledge.
