Prayer

Prayer
By: Rev. Lynwood F. Mundy

Heavenly Father, bless us this day as we give You the praise and glory that only You deserve for Your grace and mercy bestowed upon us to see a new day.

Bless all of the peoples of Your creation. For those that are secular, may we Christians stand our ground in love and letting our light shine that they will want to hear Your Word in meekness and humility. And may that Word of hearing prick their hearts that that will want to come to You through Your Son Jesus in genuine unwavering faith, accept Him as their Lord and Saviour. Then, immediately, Your Holy Spirit will indwell in the new believer, and they will become sons and daughter of You The Most High God! Hallelujah!

Bless those that are sick with their infirmities that cannot worship You in their places of worship; bless those that are in war zones around the world; bless those that are incarcerated; bless our President Obama and his family because they have been subjected to the worse of hatred, but have withstood all of their enemies from within knowing that You YHWH is their shield and buckler--No weapon formed against them will prosper. Whom You bless can no man curse, and whom You curse can no man bless. You make their enemies Your footstool.

Bless those families of the airplane that was shot down in the Ukraine. Give them strength and wipe away their tears. Jesus will be the ultimate Judge sent by You on them and all--dead and living.

In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.

A Threshing Floor

A Threshing Floor In the ancient world, farmers used threshing floors to separate grain from its inedible husk (chaff) by beating it with a flail or walking animals on it—sometimes while towing a threshing sledge. Sledges were fitted with flint teeth to dehusk the grain more quickly. Other workers would turn the grain over so that it would be evenly threshed by the sledge.
