Winepress
Ripe grapes are put in the left basin, wherein they are trodden with bare feet. The juice from the squashed grapes then flows through a groove into the right basin, from where it is filled into jugs. Wine-presses like that were cut out of the rock in order to prevent the juice from seeping into the ground.
