 Malachi 3:3

(Is. 1:25; Dan. 12:10; Zech. 13:9) He will sit as a refiner and a purifier of silver;

He will purify the sons of Levi,

And (Or refine) purge them as gold and silver,

That they may [1 Pet. 2:5] offer to the Lord

An offering in righteousness.

A Threshing Floor

A Threshing Floor In the ancient world, farmers used threshing floors to separate grain from its inedible husk (chaff) by beating it with a flail or walking animals on it—sometimes while towing a threshing sledge. Sledges were fitted with flint teeth to dehusk the grain more quickly. Other workers would turn the grain over so that it would be evenly threshed by the sledge.
