Prayer

Prayer
Rev. Lynwood F. Mundy

Lord, Thank You for this glorious day that only You can create. I remember the Hymn "Blessed Assurance" as my prayer testimony:
1. Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine! O what a fore taste of glory divine! Heir of salvation, purchase of God, Born of His Spirit, washed in His blood,
2. Perfect submission, perfect delight! Visions of rapture now burst on my sight; Angels descending bring from above Echoes of mercy, whispers of love.
3. Perfect submission-all is a rest, I in my Savior am happy and blest; Watching and waiting, looking above, Filled with His goodness, lost in His love.

Chorus
This is my story, this is my song, Praising my Savior all the day long; This is my story, this is my song, Praising my Savior all the day long.

In Jesus name I pray that all Christians feel this song in their indwelling Spirit of God. To those that are secular, come, and enjoy this "Blessed Assurance" of God in your life. Amen.

Sledges were fitted with flint teeth to dehusk the grain more quickly. Other workers would turn the grain over so that it would be evenly threshed by the sledge.
