Magdala

Magdala

‎The village Magdala where Mary Magdalene came from was located on the northwestern shore of the Sea of Galilee. The excavations of this site proofed that this place experienced a period of prosperity at the time of Jesus. The Streets were constructed in Greek style. Magdala was a regional center for pickling fish, which brought some moderate wealth to the residents.
