Believe God By: Shirley Thomas Hear my prayer, O Lord , And let my cry come to You . ( Ps 102:2 ; NKJV ). Psalm 102.1 , is a song of David, “A Prayer of the Afflicted, ( Ps. 61:2 ) When David is overwhelmed and pours out his complaint before the Lord ” showing “ The Lord’s eternal Love”. Verse 2 , David ADDRESS’ the Lord to: “Hear my prayer, O Lord” with a TOPIC: “And” the PRAYER: “let my cry come” with EMPHASIS: “to You ”. The remainder of the psalm pleads David’s supplications to the Lord , and prediction’s of the Lord . Faith and praying gets you through the hardest of times in life. Shifting your focus from the problem(s) to the Problem Solver through Jesus , is the answer. –ST After reading Psalm 102 in its entirety, ask yourself, Jehovah , do I have the faith of David in his supplication? If not, its time to make a self assessment of your spirituality with the Lord .
