Holiness or Will Show of Worship? Rev. Lynwood F. Mundy John 4:23 , 24 ; 2 Timothy 4:3-4 , 2 , 1 Why Worship God in Spirit and Truth? Jesus says, “But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him.” ( John 4:23 ) Those are the main reasons why many churches are failing in its worship services by their pastors. Because Christians and secular as well want true worship services to Jehovah - most churches have fallen away from true worship services. Jesus further explains: “God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” ( v. 24 ) Nowhere has Jesus entertain any other service to the Father.
