Binding Isaac's In 1929, this floor mosaic from the 6th century BCE was found in a synagogue of the newly founded Kibbutz Beth Alfa about 6 km west of Beth Shean. The relatively naive scene illustrates the binding of Isaac. Gen 22:9–10
