A New Year's Eve Prayer


Almighty Father, as we prayerfully come to the end of 2012, if it isYour Will, and hopefully, if it is Your Will to see the dawning of 2013, I as well as others want to thank You this moment for Your blessings,Your love, Your protection and Your Son for my and their salvation,King and Lord. Hallelujah!
We can't remember all of Your love, Your protection of unseen danger's, thank You. Thank You for the food on our tables, shelter, jobs, families and churches; I [We] just want to say, "thank You! thankYou! thank You!"
Lord, some of us that have infirmities that are with us unto death can say, "Thank You for my [our] infirmities: "8 Concerning this thing I pleaded with the Lord ... that it might depart from me. 9 And He said to me,  “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 10 Therefore l take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong. 11 I have become a fool in boasting; you have compelled me."(2 Corinthians 12:8-11a) 
As I close, I can't say enough in praising and giving You what You deserve and more, never ending. In Jesus' precious name I submit my  and my Christian brother's and sister's prayer. Amen. - Rev. Lynwood F. Mundy

For a long time, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre was the only traditional spot pointed out as the place of burial. But with the growing influence of the Grotto of Jeremiah, the modern Mount Calvary, a picture of which we give, increased in favor. This whole discussion as to the place where Christ was crucified, and as to the tomb in which His body was placed, turns upon the direction which the walls about Jerusalem took at the time of the crucifixion. If the Church of the Holy Sepulchre was outside the wall at that time, as Dean Stanley thinks it might have been, the chances in favor of its being the place of crucifixion and burial are increased. If, however, the site of this church was inside the wall at that time it is sure that the place of burial and crucifixion was not there, for Christ was crucified outside of the walls of Jerusalem.
