Magdala
Magdala
The village Magdala where Mary Magdalene came from was located on the northwestern shore of the Sea of Galilee. The excavations of this site proofed that this place experienced a period of prosperity at the time of Jesus. The Streets were constructed in Greek style. Magdala was a regional center for pickling fish, which brought some moderate wealth to the residents.
