Holiness or Will Show of Worship?

Why Worship God in Spirit and Truth?

Jesus says, “But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him.” (John 4:23)

Those are the main reasons why many churches are failing in its worship services by their pastors. Because Christians and secular as well want true worship services to Jehovah - most churches have fallen away from true worship services.

Jesus further explains: “God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” (v. 24) 

Nowhere has Jesus entertain any other service to the Father. So why have pastors brought in other services, saying, ‘the worship service is to the Lord.’

People are hungering and seeking true worship to Jehovah. Because most churches are having a service of entreating their congregations with paying for entertainment in: ‘In the name the Lord’, birthday services for the pastor – Did Jesus have birthday or anniversary service's to Himself during His three (3) year ministry? No. 

Pastors are sanctioning programs with teenagers dressed in scanty revealing clothing as dancers for the Lord. One can see men in the church from the pulpit to the usher’s eyes popping, and minds wondering about fleshy ungodly thoughts. Where is the Spirit of God in that service?

Pastors are using media to advertise people to come to their churches, or to advertise entertainment for a fee before purchasing tickets at the door which will increase in cost. People seeking to worship Jehovah in spirit and truth don’t know whether they are churching or juking. Be-bop singing and rap music is the norm - none can read nor play sheet music. Worldliness – secularism – has crept into Jehovah’s churches. "And He said to them, "It is written, 'My house shall be called a house of prayer,' but you have made it a 'den of thieves.'" Matthew 21:13

There is also the decrease of evangelizing in the community. For some church’s, proselytizing is none existent. ^“And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.”Mark 16:15

Pastors say they are using those musical genres to reach teens to come to Christ - there are teen's and older musicians that play in clubs and dive-joints, and do not, nor attend any church. Yet they are hired by church pastors to play knowing that they are worldly. Is that godly? Most musician's leave playing in clubs while drinking and dancing to worldly music, and come to church to play for the service. Is that godly? Some even come after cohabitating, committing sins of the body against Jehovah's commandments, and serve without repentance. 

Congregational hymn's is a thing of the pass. Bibles in the pews of churches that have pews is none existent. Reading of the Scripture and congregation is almost none existent.

God’s word is the truth and will draw all with the invitation, “Come.” “And the Spirit and the bride say, Come! And let him who hears say, Come! And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely.” (Revelation 22:17) 

Pastors are forgetting their charge as Paul charged Timothy: “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.” (2 Timothy 4:3-5)

Conclusion

I charge preachers to preach and teach the word of Elohim as is written. And evangelize to the world to as many as you can reach to bring to Jesus.
