I have a school friend named, Rebecca; She is also a FaceBook friend of mine.

As I read and listened to Our Daily Bread, September 13, 2018, devotional, Rebecca's name pierced my spirit because of the ODB title: What's in a Name?

Rebecca is a woman of many strife’s, goals, and infirmities in her lifetime. All of the things in her life from joy to near death were and had always been placed in God's hands, because of her unwavering faith in her Him. That faith is more prevalent now that it has ever been in her life.

We live in a society where a name does not mean anything. Most of the people cannot give a definition of their name because it does not say a thing in any language. Not only does their name, but the spelling and pronunciation are wrong. What a pity

I knew of the biblical name Rebecca and thought it would be a tribute to my friend and Christian sister in Christ Jesus to research all of the biblical instances where Rebecca is mentioned. My study of the King James Version (KJV) located twenty-five (25) sayings of Rebecca's name in various cases of the Old Testament (OT), and the New Testament (NT).

Shorten and making you the reader's lookup the biblical area and become knowable Bible students, I listed the listed by chapter's:
