Isaiah 35:1-4
The Future Glory of Zion
35:1 The (Is. 32:15; 55:12wilderness and the (desert) wasteland shall be glad for them,
And the (Is. 41:19; 51:3desert (Heb. [Arabah]) shall rejoice and blossom as the rose;
2 (Is. 32:15It shall blossom abundantly and rejoice,
Even with joy and singing.
The glory of Lebanon shall be given to it,
The excellence of Carmel and Sharon.
They shall see the (Is. 40:5glory of the Lord,
The excellency of our God.
3 (Job 4:3, 4; Heb. 12:12Strengthen the (Litsinking) weak hands,
And make firm the (tottering or stumbling) feeble knees.
4 Say to those who are fearful-hearted,
“Be strong, do not fear!
Behold, your God will come with (Is. 34:8vengeance,
With the recompense of God;
He will come and (Ps. 145:19; Is. 33:22save you.”
