Daniel 9:2-3

     2 in the first year of his reign I, Daniel, understood by the books the number of the years specified by the word of the Lord through (2 Chr. 36:21; Ezra 1:1; Jer. 25:11, 12; 29:10; Zech. 7:5) Jeremiah the prophet, that He would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem.

3 (Neh. 1:4; Dan. 6:10; 10:15) Then I set my face toward the Lord God to make request by prayer and supplications, with fasting, sackcloth, and ashes.
